Gosh, I love this song <3 The way they play the guitar, the way the sound of the guitar "echoes" and can be clearly heard throughout the whole song (except for the rock part lol), the transition from "acoustic" to rock. Beautiful, 'nuff said.

Got my God of War and Crisis Core for PSP yesterday, GOW IS TEH EPIC OWNAGE LAR BIATCHESSZZZ. Ah, the bloodbath, the oh-so-"sexy" moves Kratos does when he's dancing around with his Blades of Chaos (lol), SWEET. Every second is non-stop pewpew action. Not recommended for kids though, coz got prawn one. But is soft shell prawn. :DD

anw, back to arcades, i don't understand why people say arcade games are for children or childish lor. those games that i play are those that really need some level of skill, which can't be easily nurtured or found in kids. seriously, it's once in a blue moon you see a primary school kid getting good timings in initial d or max tune; unless he or she has been training since 6yrs old, which is highly impossible upon my frequent visits to the arcades. there are different games in arcades to cater to different age groups, and i believe it is alright for people above 16 or even 18 (me) to play games like initial d or max tune. unless of course, you turn sour because you lost a race, now that's childish and idiotic.

the journey home today..
was BLOODY DANGEROUS. SERIOUSLY... FATAL.
from the bus stop to my block's void deck, it was WET ALL TEH WAY. i was wearing slippers, had to walk SO DAMN SLOW, took almost 7mins to reach home, when it would normally take 2-3mins on a sunny day.
even though i was already walking at a snailish pace, i almost slipped and killed myself a few times. DAMN, i hate it when it rains unexpectedly and i'm wearing slippers.

heng heng i was careful enough to hold onto the railing and walls. god knows what might have happened if i didn't. *shudders*

anw went to boon lay with aug to buy soccer ball today. aug bought shoes for himself and his bro, while i got this:

supposed to have chilli crab for dinner just now, but the stupid rain had to come and spoil my family's plans. my dad was just about to head out of home, when lightning struck and the rain came falling down.
today's weather was one of the worse i have ever encountered. it was like a storm blown out of proportion, while looking out of the window i couldn't even see about 100 metres ahead of me. even though it was raining cats and dogs, the skies had a strange yet pretty yellowish tint to it. the lightning was so bright, sometimes when it struck, my living room would be like bathed in white.
heng i was wearing my headphones and listening to blasting music, or else i confirm will tio chua by the thunder :)
after the rain subsided and reduced to a drizzle, the sky still had the yellowish tint to it. i can't really describe it, and a picture would really help right now, but it was very unique to me, and at the same time, beautiful.
ahh. wtf am i going on about? this ain't composition class! XD

yeah yeah. it's the new year. so happy new year to all.
but i don't really have mood today. sick with the flu AGAIN. like wtf man. i just had flu on christmas, now i'm having flu on new year day. it's like someone out there is cursing. what a bad start to the new year. zz.
anyway for the past 2 weeks, i'm glad to say i remained home most of the time. the only significant times i went out were the usual soccer on saturdays, watching The Warlords, and outing with family on x'mas day eve. didn't spend much money as well, which i should be proud of :) my parents bought me a new black jacket and a pair of jeans from freshbox. sweet.
other than that, i rotted at home most of the time. i surfed the playpark forums (PPF) almost whenever i logged onto the internet. that's when i stumbled upon something called the grandfather paradox. try googling it or wiki it. but in short, the grandfather paradox is actually a situation in which time travel is possible; you have to travel back and kill your grandfather when he was a CHILD.
of course logically speaking, if you managed to kill your grandpa, it wouldn't be right, because your grandma would not have met your grandpa, your grandma wouldn't have given birth to your father, which in turn, you wouldn't be born and you wouldn't be able to kill your grandpa.
somehow it is similar to the chicken or the egg? which is often used to illustrate cause and effect, or a cycle of consequences. like try imagining, if it was a chicken first, where did it come from? did god create it? however, if it was an egg first, where did it come from? dropped from the sky?
interesting huh xD those reading this post, don't bother thinking too deeply about it, especially the grandfather paradox, because it was actually meant to show that time travel can never be possible through the whole explanation i just gave earlier.
but for now, you can try thinking about this: principle of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created or destroyed. how then, does energy come about?

my cooking skills owns man practically everything got burnt but it wasnt entirely my fault. seriously no joke!
but i didn't get to eat much chicken wings coz there weren't alot of them. the otahs and sausages were good though. im glad i was able to make it actually. after not seeing them for like.. months?
had a cup of wine after the bbq. wasnt very tasty. not as good as those my dad purchases. very hard to swallow the drink down, and ur throat will feel dry while swallowing it. still, i managed to finish it -.-"
i would have prefered barcadi breezer or some other bottled vodka ^^

paiseh for my absence. was busy.
ya busy. busy lifeless mapling and surfing the net, foruming, etc.
anw i changed my windows xp to vista! woots :D
nah its not really vista.
i just used a transformation pack to make it look really really close to vista.
its cool sia. the cursors, taskbar, start menu and explorer have all changed.
watched resident evil extinction on tues as well.
got some really CHUA SAI parts.
the sounds effects were fcking loud and piercing lor, some parts made me n my frens jump LOL :P
we lucky to get seats ard the middle, shld be coz its a wkday bah.

yeah man..
after a long wait the airing of gundam 00 has commenced. and i have the first ep using direct download. woots! xD
well the quality of animation, drawing and graphics have improved greatly i tink, as compared to seed n seed destiny. the start is quite similar to gundam wing, but at least its better than some kids trying to steal gundam from an enemy country. lol.
anyway u guys shld watch it lar. truly highly recommended.
i cant wait for the 2nd ep to come out alrdy lar, the first was so exciting. haha.

hmm first of all hor, when i received this, i became really pissed off with her attitude. she stated that she has reminded me many times, but i don even recall her telling me to hand it in. coz i still clearly rmb wat she said to me "alex, since u sent me an email and i already said i don wan emails, u will be getting 0 for this assignment." so wat would ur natural reaction be? "since alrdy get 0, do for wat, also wont get marks wat" tats wat i tot lor. since then, i hv nvr heard a single reminder telling me to hand in the assignment from her, then last wk, when CRS module is finished n i wont even see her face again (YAY), this email came. i mean like wtf?! lar. firstly i tink most of u dont rmb this story. but i wil always rmb it. actually i did the written response alrdy. but i forgot tat she doesnt accept emails from us. so i emailed her tgt with the assignment. tinking tat im done with it and i don need it anymore, i deleted the assignment from my laptop.

of cos i noe its my fault for being careless in the first place, i admit to tat. but i tot the least she could do was, to reply me, asking me to redo it. but she dint lar. even in class, i asked her nicely to reply me an email at least, but wat she do? she just dao me and say "alex ar, so irresponsible". i mean, u wan say im irresponsible i understand, but couldnt u at least ask me to redo? u just left me at a loss for words then u say "alex you would be getting 0 for this." so of cos i gave up lar, since 0 liao wat, don need do le.

went to amk hub ytd to watch the bourne ultimatum. haha it was cool except we sat on the third row from the screen again. n coz it was quite action pack, the camera moved ard alot so i felt a little queasy after the movie lol.

anw abt the movie ar, ya like i said jus now it was cool, the stunts really are quite scary, esp when jason bourne jump from one house to another thru windows, thru glass n almost anything. he also drove his car off a 3 or 4 storeys building and landing on another car. like wtf?! man. Lol. and tat n more but he din really get seriously injured, but still kinda realistic. haha.

all in all i rate is 4/5. u guys shld catch it as soon as possible lol xD

im proud to say i hav finally started on WoW.
lol tats like dunno how many months after i started boasting about playing WoW coz im in poly now, but anyway i hope i get addicted but not to a big extent like tiger lol.
anw watched harry potter n the order of the phoenix at the cathay yesterday evening. it was so-so nia, coz alot parts in the book were not included, it was quite disorderly haha. but then again, the CG animation and effects still remains in the category "woah". however, if u really wan to enjoy this movie, just be sure tat u dunno and know the story well enough. wat i mean? if u dunno the story at all, u will be like "huh?!" in the cinema. but if u know it too well, u gonna fall asleep. helpful advice rite? xD

transformers rox!! i feel that its even better than spiderman. every point in the movie theres intense action that will have u craving for more at the edge of ur seat. its really damn shiok! lol. the way the robots transform into another form or a vehicle, so incredibly detailed and visually stunning man. damn its really a good piece of work, just like a masterpiece lor. plus the battles were on such a large scale, its like it took place all over new york or wat lor haha.

today i fell in love with a 3 year old girl!!! LOL. it was my class sl project today, at singapore botanic gardens :) but anyway, the topic is the girl SOOO KAWAII~~~!
at first she so shy shy de, but after some fun, i tink she felt more at ease bah, with me xDD i tink was quite lucky in the first place, to be able to buddy with her :D then some more she nvr cry in the beginning.. so brave lor. lol. first we let the kids just run around catching bubbles, getting them warmed up. then we had lunch, rest a while, before going for arts and crafts session in some pavillion in the middle of the botanic gardens. lol. this part of the day hardest for me lar, she so young, i don tink she even understand wat bean talking about making dinosaur about lor LOL. but still.. the way she fold the paper, and then showing the end product to me. know what she called it? "Dunno" LOL. actually she just practically folded the paper along some corners and crushed most of it (HAHA), but she just pushes it into my face. "oooh what is this?" i ask,"what name?" "Dunno" LOLOL -.-ll then i tink she made 4 or 5 of this.

then after tat, time to part and say sayonara. lol. sad sad sad me lor. after alight at amk hub, wanted to take photo with her for keepsake de, but she like DAO~ ME..SOBS...maybe shes just tired lar haha :D

Just came home from 0607 chalet! Wasn't too bad bah, i guess. nothing much to do other than play cards, watch tv and rot rofl. haha but nevertheless it was fun, able to see my classmates again, and eat good food xDD
so, for this chalet, must especially thank benjamin for organising, shirley for being logistics and money manager :P, and the others who took some time off to come down and making it happen. hehe xDD.

caught pirates of the carribean: at world's end yesterday! woots. after a looong wait, got to watch the finale of the trilogy le. song ar. the cg (computer graphics) really owns man. at the credits, can see one huge portion just for the digital artists and designers. after that, still got additional digital artists and another huge bunch of names come out. lol. but some parts can get a little confusing. so those who never watch the first and second movie hor, if come watch the third, sure gong gong one. haha. or if you need some relaxation from stress, watching this movie just for its humour also quite good bah. some parts will really make you LOL. the action sequences were also greatly captured by the camera. in short, what i think of the review in Life! (which gave it 2 stars) is very very very erm, not to be believed lar. lol xD

after the movie, damn hungry lar. never eat lunch and dinner at all lor. the hougang kiddos ate at hougang, but too laggy for me so i just went home. guess what? i ate instant noodles. but this time, cooked by my MOM. Watched Spiderman 3 yesterday at Bugis. Supposed to start at 6.30pm de, but in the end, got some technical problem then about 7pm then start. Lol, can hear the people in the theatre jeering and booing lar, hehe, not excluding we bunch of guys too xD
then the seating arrangements best liao lar, we were all the way to the back, and all the way to the side, making us super cornered. Next to us was the entrance only. Haha. Ok mustn't complain, better than seating in first row like last time Spiderman 2 that time. Then the technical fault also heng is starting ar, if not like Death Note 2 at Toa Payoh. Macham like soccer half time sia. LOL.

Woo! Finally! Got my new laptop! Happy like hell lar. But the present state of the computer table is in a mess. Wires are everywhere and the laptop have to be placed infront of the old PC some more. Today soccer got something dramatic happened. Dunno why, whenever we are out always will have dai ji. Anyway it was raining today, so we had no other place to play soccer other than a multi purpose hall, or what we call "$500 shelter", because it fines anyone who plays soccer there $500. So we were playing there lar, then this couple walked past. We all became very quiet and stopped kicking the ball, letting them through. Then the man turned around and said

Anyway last time Shawn recommended me to watch D.Gray-man on crunchyroll.com. I didn't have time at first to watch it, but when I started 2 days ago, now I'm addicted to it le lar. The anime totally rocks lor, and if the standard of the episodes I have watched so far are kept high or even higher when the new episodes come out, I think it's going to be better than Bleach le. For me, abit disappointing lor because I was expecting it to be sort of filmed real time, with actual surroundings and all, maybe use animations for the stunts just like normal movies, but haha, turn out the whole movie was animated, like 3D cartoon wor. Went to pulau ubin to cycle yesterday! Not many people turned up but nevertheless it was fun. Didn't have the chance to see the chun zhang de er zi though. Then eddie had an accident in the middle of nowhere, had to carry his bike from nowhere to the jetty. Damn xing ku lar, and zk's suan-ings didn't help at all lor LOL.
On the way back saw this dead lizard lying on the road, arthur went to take photo with it some more LOL. Somehow, eddie didn't have to pay extra for his bike, which was messed up because of the accident, and somehow, the shop's auntie managed to repair the bike in an instant! We all were really chua tio lor. Even sihan our sng bao master couldn't perform that feat. wow. Lol.

Primeval was okay, the storyline, suspense and thrills were all quite there but the crocodile running on land was too kua zhang le~ I mean imagine a 9m crocodile running on land, how fast can that be lar. In water that fast I don't mind, this one on land leh! Kao he run faster than car lor I think. LOL.
Hm somemore he smarter than humans too. He can predict all sorts of things. There's a part when one person was seriously injured by the crocodile (whose name was Gustave), then he wanted to make Gustave die along with him, so he had a grenade in his hand, want to be hero and sacrifice himself. Suddenly, Gustave pops out of the water, but instead of munching the man immediately, he tosses him away into the water, so in the end, the grenade didn't harm Gustave at all and the sacrifice was wasted. Pro ar the Gustave, can predict dangers so easily -.-
But still, the movie was worth the money ^^

Dyed my hair! Like finally! Lol. Used gatsby bleach but unfortunately the hair at the back couldn't be dyed properly, must be because I kept using tissue to clean off as the dye was like dripping off the ends of my hair rofl xD

Hmm as requested by char, I shall blog on the sentosa outing on tuesday xD
Let me see, my memory abit rusty already lol... oh. Woke up at abt 11.10am, lied on my bed for a while before my mum reminded me, "I thought you going sentosa today?" Then I realised so I quickly chionged to harbourfront mrt lol. Met most of the class there, proceeded to the hawker centre outside the mrt station, and it was like sooo packed lar. Took some time to find seats, and even then we were separated >.< Anyway I think I took even more time to decide on what to eat haha, partly because I was looking for stalls which are recommended by those kinda eating shows on TV like makansutra but couldn't really find any so, settled on a miserable plate of black carrot cake -.-ll the carrot cake was reused de lar, quite er xin lol.
*fast forward* Lol, so the guys arrived at sentosa while the girls went somewhere to buy clothes (they must hv took the opportunity to shopping lar, dunno what took them so long hehe xD). Then from the beach station, we walked, walked and walked to one point of the beach and although I didn't really see any difference but the others said it was the best place so... haha shall leave it hanging :D
Anyway the beach was the best part lar, even though the sand was burning the soles of my feet, we used the volleyball for soccer xD, we did like almost all sorts of things, like playing cards on a big rock haha. After the girls came, all of us played captain's ball. Kena thrashed lor, felt like doing a walkout like the Thais but I'm not that loserish wahahah. No lar joking about the walkout part. But lose until quite badly LOL. Who cares anyway, what matters most is that we had fun ^^ Suddenly, and i mean suddenly, it started raining while we were slacking on the beach, and all of us had to chiong to the shelter. Luckily the rain didn't go on for long, we were able to wash up and head back to harbourfront, quite uneventfully actually lol. But the blue line bus trip back was interesting because there were alot of japanese on the bus, and at the end before alighting, some shouted,"Gambatte *something*!!" in which the rest replied something but I couldn't hear clearly. Haha, cute sia xD
Went to vivocity for dinner after that. Had long john silvers, this time we had to take away our meals again because everywhere was packed with people -.-ll
And wth! We even played in the children's playground lar, some people got hurt but fortunately they were okay. Intended to play pool de, but so expensive lar, like $10/hr? Zzz siao one. Rotted around for a while then went home. Damn tired after the outing.

Woo IT Fair never fails to wow me, with the eye candy (both the products and girls there xD). Anyway, PS3 OWNS LAR. Simply sugoi-neh. I wanted so much to get my hands on that thing but, the queue was long and quite paiseh to play in front of so many people, plus the new Ridge Racer so damn hard lor, the best position I have seen anyone attain was 13/14 LOL. Maybe I shall go again on Sunday, see if got anything I wanna buy, because today was rather rushed din have a chance to see through the laptops or PCs properly. As always the trip there and home contains so many suan-ings and sweepings -.- but that's the way I like haha

Okay okay for all who's curious, I got posted to aeronautical engineering at SP okay?
I don't really want anybody to know, I'm not that kinda person who fancies a grand farewell with balloons and champagne or anything, I rather slip away silently, with nobody noticing anything. Well, yes I may be cruel/inconsiderate/unappreciative in some sense, but, that's just me. Of course, I will never forget the friendships I made in my one year three months in aj, especially my pw groupmates yuding, evan, rachel and tzeyuen :D and the pdgs 0506 & 0607.

anyway, met up with my classmates to catch norbit at cineleisure yesterday. the guys were kinda late, and we bought the tickets 5mins before the show started. even so, the cinema was so empty and it was like free seating -.-ll haha but i enjoyed the show very much, it was so hilarious and rasputia was disgusting, which just makes it better xD

after that took some neoprints with the girls (oh btw, did i mention abt the pathetic turnout? 5 guys 4 girls -.-) but 2 of the guys didn't want to (spoilers!). then the girls went off to heeren for shopping while the guys ate lunch. went to play lan after that and i must say the ai is pretty intelligent.

getting bored with my first day at home already, somebody lend me some games? yawns

Woo had so much FUN with the 06/07 people yesterday!!! Left home at abt 11.30am, went to Kovan to play LAN unfortunately only 4 people turned up so it was like lame 2v2? Lol was sian-ed by LAN but once we got to Marina, I got pumped up again. I have never gone there before and there were like so many arcades, bowling alleys and places to play pool, shiok sia! Haha. Once we got there, the 4 of us played arcade, then an hour of pool, then we went back to the arcade -.- By then we were like waiting impatiently for the rest of the class to come because they were quite late and we were hungry! Lol.
About 6.30pm I got a sms from Shirley and YES! time for the steamboat! Roars Kahou came to find us and all 5 of us chiong-ed to the steamboat center immediately. Hmm, shan't talk too much about the cooking and everything but I must say the food was pretty good. We even made a non-pork/Halal table just for Firdaus but he said he still cannot take the food, so, abit disappointing. Anyway, I was not really very full but at the same time, couldn't take any more so most of the guys went to the LANshop there but it was full so we proceeded to bowling. RAHS, I have been using my own ball for so long that using the house ball just pWned me, sobs.
Hmm, on to the next part of the outing! Night walk! Rofl, walked from Marina Mall to Marina Bay MRT and took almost 20mins to get to our destination. Had some fun and laughter along the way too, hehe, scaring the people especially ^^
At the MRT station, my EZ Link card got some kinda error so I couldn't go in and I stayed stuck there for like 5mins, before I had it checked by the control station. Seemed that I did not tap it when I was exiting the station just now -.-ll And the rest pangseh us! >.< Sad lar left me and Benjamin to take MRT by ourselves lol.

Zzz got injured from running around too much during soccer today. Couldn't run much about an hour after we started playing. Must have placed too much strain on somewhere in my thighs, because I keep having this sharp pain whenever I try to raise it -.-ll
Anyway enough whining about myself xD

Here's me really hoping Alvin's leg gets better soon ^^ and then also to everybady taking JAE to be able to get their first choice :D

Just reformatted my computer today, had a couple of problems at the start but it turned out to be fine after I got back from Bugis.

Oh yeah caught Epic Movie at Bugis today. It wasn't as good as Scary Movie considering both of these movies are along the same genre, but it was still lame and pretty humourous. Hm that should be all then.

WOO SINGAPORE WINS THE ASEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP!!! ^^
Sad I didn't have the chance to watch the 2nd leg of the finals because I was using the computer but as soon as I heard the cries of "GOAL!!!" coming from my father and brother I rushed out and caught the replays of the two goals. The goal by Thailand could have been avoided, defenders were like sleeping? Lol, but never mind that, what matters most was the goal by Khairul Amri, that was such a stunner (nevertheless, beautiful). He also caught the Thai defenders napping :D

Argh, stupid Speak EZ CRAP. I can't even think of anything to type on. Good game... xD

What a dramatic and EMO match! Singapore 2 - 1 Thailand. Woohoo!!!

What started out as a match between two ordinary teams of eleven players, soon turned out that one of the teams was a team made up of LOSERS. As I said, the gameplay was normal in the beginning, with Singapore bagging an early goal and then Thailand scoring another quite some time later. Gameplay started to get more serious by then, with both sides showing a good deal of teamwork and skills and balls started to travel towards the net more often than before.

Wtf, I sound like a pro soccer analyst. ZZZ don't kp me for this please LOL.

Anyway, moving on, the time soon came when the referee did not award Singapore a penalty even though somebody (who? O.o) was kicked down by a Thai defender. Even so, the Thais should be relieved if not the final scoreline may have been 3-1 (then happy le ^^).
Then suddenly, a free kick was awarded to Singapore. Shi Jia Yi took it for Singapore, swinging it into the center of the Thais' penalty box when Alam Shah was (quite obviously) pulled down. Penalty, says the ref, and that's where the drama all started. Replays showed one Thai player calling the entire team to walk off the pitch and "boycott" the decision made by the ref. LOL, tell me, what kind of a LOSER team does that? Just accept the fact that you made a bloody defensive mistake and concede that penalty, if you can't take it, then don't play at all. HAHA. Then the cameras were showing the Thais all sulking with their JIAOBIN coach and EMO-ing along with him.
{Fast forward}
GOAL! Fahrudin confidently places the ball in the top right corner of the net! One of, if not the best, penalties taken so far in this championship. Wah, why am I so long-winded over only the first leg of the finals. LOL, should stop here.

Yay Singapore won Malaysia 5-4 on penalties! Sad, the Malaysian goalkeep made a brilliant save to Precious' thumping shot. If only it had gone into the back of the net, that would have been a superb goal for Singapore.

Lately, been having lots of thoughts, like whether I should just give up and go to a poly, or persevere on in AJC and have the likelihood of failing myself again. Somehow, whenever people ask me about my new class or talk about anything related to my retaining, I would prefer to keep mum, or mumble the answer out. Hope you guys will understand. >.<

School has started! Let me see what I have been doing for the first several days of school.
Erm, here goes... might be quite surprising ;)
First 2 days of orientation - skipped it. Didn't want to go on the first day, fell sick on the second >.<
Last day of orientation - attended it, but didn't join in my OG for anything. Went to watch movie in the library with mona and huiqi. Bored the hell out of me though -.-"
Yesterday and today - I transformed into a good boy and attended all the subject lectures. Bored the hell out of me again -.-"

Yeah that was it. So far. Boring yet going at a snailish pace. But I love it this way :D
